Lori Gould, Principal Consultant and Director
Lori has over 25 years’ experience in the environmental sector and specialises in practical natural resource management, particularly riparian rehabilitation, landscape planning and community engagement. Qualifications include PhD Migratory Bird Ecology (current), Masters (Integrated Water Resources Management), Post Graduate Certificate (River Restoration and Management), BSc (Environmental Science), Ass. Dip. of Applied Science (Animal Science), registered Land for Wildlife assessor and a Fellow of the Peter Cullen Trust.
Rozita Higgs, Consultant and Planning Officer
Rozita (Rozie) is a recent graduate of the ANU having completed a BSc (Environment and Sustainability). She is dedicated to building relationships of stewardship and to delivering impactful projects for the environment and our clients. So far, Rozie has been involved in Ecological Connectivity and Landscape Restoration Plans across Canberra and is assisting the Director as Planning Officer for ERDP as we grow and take on more projects.
Isobel Bender, Consultant
Isobel brings a unique blend of academic research and field expertise to our team, with a wide range of experience in the environmental sector including management of on-ground restoration programs for over 4 years, specialising in riparian restoration and regenerative agriculture, provision of science communication to government (water sector), environmental policy analysis (water and biodiversity offsets) and management of farm soil carbon trading agreements. Qualifications include BSc Hons (Snow Gum Dieback Management), BSc (Environmental Studies and Biodiversity Conservation Management), Cert III (Conservation and Ecosystem Management), and registered Land for Wildlife Assessor.
Jed Pearson, Consultant
Jed puts the ‘p’ in practical, bringing a high level of on-ground works knowledge and experience to the team. Jed specialises in water quality, riparian management, biodiversity assessment, native and invasive flora management and delivery of on-ground works programs. Over the past 3 years, he has brought together a diversity of skills working in the agricultural and horticultural industries, to become a respected ecological consultant and project manager. Jed has completed a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management, Certificate III in Horticulture and prior to this, graduated from Farrer Agricultural School. Jed is also a registered Land for Wildlife Assessor and Waterwatch training provider.
Alex James, Consultant
Prior to her work with ERDP, Alex spent several years delivering educational programs for farmers including projects on waterways, soil, climate change, biosecurity, biodiversity and farm management. With a background in agriculture and passionate about biodiversity, climate and sustainability, she’s excited to be working on projects that deliver multiple benefits to farmers and the community with Gunning Landcare, SE Landcare, Australian River Restoration Centre and ERDP.

geoAdapt provides GIS services include data management, analysis, modelling, visualisation and training. Effective data management ensures information is well-organized and easily accessible as the foundation for successful projects and includes in-depth analysis that uncovers hidden patterns to sophisticated modelling for predictive insights, captivating visualizations, and turning complex data into compelling stories. Principal, Dr Jason MacKenzie has over 15 years’ experience as a spatial data scientist, working primarily in the environmental conservation and adaptation sector. He has a PhD in Marine Biology, a Bachelor of Science in Human and Natural Ecology, Professional Wilderness Training and was previously a NAUI Dive Instructor.

Dreamtime Connections deliver on-ground works services such as fencing, planting, weed control, establishment of bush tucker gardens and other restoration works. They also provide a range of Indigenous cultural engagement activities for community and business. Dreamtime Connections are helping to educate and promote Aboriginal culture, food and land management techniques as part of mainstream Australian life. Principal, Aaron Chatfield has over 10 years’ experience in natural resource management, a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
